In the competition against unlicensed sellers as cannabis legalization slowly expands across the United States, companies like Harvest Health & Recreation Inc (CSE: HARV; OTCQX: HRVSF) are always on the hunt for new product offerings.
Today Harvest announced products from cannabis lifestyle brand Cookies will launch in Arizona medical dispensaries this week.
Those new strains are available at Harvest of Tempe and Harvest of Lake Havasu this morning, with expansion planned to other sites in the near future. The former location will additionally host a product launch celebration on September 15 featuring Cookies CEO and cannabis entrepreneur Berner meeting directly with patients.
More than 50 product offerings are now included in the Cookies lineup, covering a wide range of capsules, vape cartridges, and pre-rolled products.
Berner teamed up with Santa Cruz breeder Brett Wilson to launch the Lemonnade line in Seattle last year, which includes such strains as Lemonchello 28, The Lime, Lemon Pebblez, and Sorbet 11. Some of those Lemonnade products will also be included in the new Cookies rollout at Arizona stores this week.

In other recent Arizona news, Harvest Health & Recreation signed the UNITY Pledge last week, which was initiated by state-wide business collaboration ONE Community.
The goal of the pledge is to promote workplace equity for LGBTQ employees and allies, and Harvest’s signing marks the first major cannabis brand in the state to join the initiative.
ONE Community is just the latest state organization to see a partnership from Harvest, with the company additionally supporting the Havasu Community Health Foundation, Americans For Safe Access, and the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona through a variety of initiatives.
Harvest is currently expanding in Pennsylvania, although that effort saw a significant setback earlier this month as the company dropped licensing applications for two locations that were on the verge of opening. While those stores will not be pursued, five other affiliate locations are still planned in the state.
